Obsidian is an American games delveloper who emerged out of the collapse of Interplay Productions Black Isle Studios.

Obsidian and SEGA teamed up and created the RPG, "Alpha Protocol", on June 1, 2010. SEGA then assigned Obsidian to develop to make another RPG based on the Aleins movie franchise.
